About the Role:
To be employed in this role you must hold a HGV Class 1 Licence and have no more than six points. You will be required to drive Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles during your employment. Our operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. Late and weekend working is a requirement of the role, and flexibility with your work pattern may be needed.
Our driving team plays an important front-line role in maintaining our success and reputation. This role is about safe driving and delivering excellent customer service to our stores. You will be responsible for carrying out driver checks before starting the engine and will regularly perform at least two runs over each shift, often to different stores. You will assist with loading and unloading your vehicle at the store and any other necessary tasks, including cleaning your vehicle and trailer. Delivering on time, but always safely, is essential.
