I am an 11-year-old boy who is looking for a Personal Assistant to support me in the Merthyr area. I have global developmental delay with autism, and I need to grow confidence with being outside of home and in social settings. I also need to become more comfortable with transitions to and from activities. I would like to build a trusting relationship with a PA who supports me to manage my anxieties as I don’t have any sense of danger, so I need to be supported at all times.

I wish to gain confidence; I would like to have a little more independence and for someone to spend 6 hours a week in school holidays to go out in the community. I like most things except noisy and busy areas. I often wear ear defenders when it is noisy and will take breaks for quiet time. I like swimming, trampolining, messy and water play. I love being out in the car so really need someone who drives too.
