Foodservice wholesaler supplier seeks experienced Business Development Manager to develop sales with existing and potential key customers.

As Business Development Manager for a foodservice wholesaler you’ll manage and develop key accounts and report directly into the Sales Manager. Working for this recognised quality food supplier will give you the chance to develop your skills and experience amongst a team of like-minded food enthusiasts within a business where hard work is rewarded. This role will suit an experienced UK foodservice sales professional who is looking for their next step in their career or a foodservice salesperson who is looking for a new challenge. You’ll need to be a keen foodie who believes that the customer is king and be passionate about delivering great customer service both internally and externally.

As part of the sales team, you’ll have full responsibility for key customers within a designated territory. You’ll be responsible for planning face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers, sampling products, range selling and completing all administration that goes with successful customer and territory management. You’ll be given the autonomy to manage your time to achieve your territory’s targets and KPI’s.

The main areas for business development are Northampton, Milton Keynes, and Peterborough so it is essential that you live in or very close to these areas and are prepared to travel daily.
