North Lindsey College, part of the DN Colleges Group, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Beauty Lecturer to join our Hair and Beauty team. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, support learners in achieving their goals, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. You’ll be teaching across a range of Beauty Therapy courses, embedding English and maths, and helping students develop both technical and professional skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Beauty Therapy programmes.
- Act as a course lecturer, supporting a caseload of full-time and/or part-time students.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and behaviour, taking action where needed.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and promotional activities such as open days and events.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy (degree or equivalent).
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience in delivering Beauty Therapy education.
- Ability to embed Functional Skills and use digital learning platforms effectively.
