The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Working within our very busy and successful department, we are actively looking for a Grab Driver who can demonstrate the following:

  • Previous utility experience
  • Good geographical knowledge of Co Down and Co Antrim
  • Proven experience driving and operating 8-wheel grab lorries in busy residential areas
  • Sound knowledge of backfill materials/requirements and compaction using vibration tampers
  • Must be able to communicate and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations applicable to the role
  • Working to the company Health & Safety standards

Hours are 07:00 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday). Salary is based on experience.

About The Role:

  • You will be expected to complete a vehicle check each morning, which includes checking tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels, and general condition of the vehicle.
  • You will work to a planned schedule, maintaining records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
  • Any other adhoc duties as required.

Essential requirements include:

  • Clean and Valid HGV Licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Valid Hiab Certification
  • Up to Date CPC Card
  • Valid Tachograph Card
  • NRSWA Accreditation
  • Valid CSR Card
