The Role of the Design Draughtsperson:
They are looking to strengthen their team with a dedicated and skilled Design Draughtsperson. You’ll be working on unique machinery projects from concept through to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Create full manufacturing drawing packs, including assemblies and BOMs
- Design bespoke machinery tailored to specific client requirements
- Liaise with production and engineering teams to ensure accurate builds
- Support product improvements and updates through the full design lifecycle
About You:
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Over 2 years' experience as a Design Draughtsperson
- Proficient in both SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience designing special purpose machinery or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes
