Our global end-user client is seeking a D365 SCM Consultant to support their worldwide rollout of D365 F&SCM. This is a multiyear programme of work and they are upgrading from AX2012 to D365 F&SCM. They require a consultant with expertise in the product fulfilment and distribution processes. Specifically, they are looking for someone with hands-on experience in warehousing management, inventory management, and the distribution modules within D365 F&SCM.
This is an initial 6 month contract and will be predominantly remote with some European travel required. Applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work without requiring sponsorship.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, including D365O, AX 2012, and AX 2009.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics modules, particularly WHS and WMS, as well as sales, production management, and logistics.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Hands-on experience with complex, multi-country implementations, third-party system integrations, and interface management.
- Ability to balance high-level architecture design with hands-on project execution, effectively communicating solution methods and integration challenges.
- Ideally, you would bring leadership in consulting and client management, along with strong prioritization and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing business processes to identify specific requirements.
- Perform analysis with AX/D365 knowledge.
- Perform analysis with deep understanding of warehouse and distribution processes.
- Support configuration activities.
- Writing of high-quality solution proposals.
- AX functional designs/solution proposals.
- Handheld processes functional designs/solution proposals.
- Output documents functional designs/solution proposals.
- Integrations functional designs/solution proposals.
- Reports/KPIs designs/solution proposals.
- Supporting quality assurance testing, functional testing, sub process testing and process testing.
- Supporting data mapping and supporting data validation.
- Supporting user training.
- Supporting business process changes, preparation activities and cut-over activities.
- Support investigating of issues, resolving of issues and improvement activities.
Location: United Kingdom
