A Personal Injury Paralegal is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award-winning, national law firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join their Chambers rated, Tier 1 Personal Injury team. The team is nationally recognised for their work in securing compensation for people who have suffered, often complex, injuries as a result of accidents.

As a Personal Injury Paralegal you will play a key role in supporting experienced solicitors across a range of personal injury cases but with a particular focus on cycling accidents.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing and submitting CNFs/letters of claim
  • Reviewing medical reports
  • Drafting witness statements
  • Drafting schedules of special damages
  • Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
  • Drafting court documents
  • Researching case law on liability and quantum
  • Preparing advice on liability, causation and quantum

Applications are invited from Paralegals or Litigation Executives with at least 1 year’s experience working on Claimant RTA cases, preferably with knowledge of cycling accident claims. You will have experience of handling RTA Portal files during Stage 1 and Stage 2 and have a good understanding of the CPR and Portal rules.
