We are seeking experienced Vehicle Strip Fitters to join our client’s well-established bodyshop team in Corby. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring vehicles are stripped, repaired, and refitted to the highest standards, under the guidance of the bodyshop manager and supervisor.

The Role:

  • Strip and refit panels on a range of vehicles.
  • Remove parts and panels, ensuring all fixings (, nuts, bolts, screws) are accurately labelled and securely stored for reassembly.
  • Carry out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition following approved methods.
  • Assist other departments within the bodyshop as required.
  • Support and train bodyshop trainees when needed.
  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Strip Fitter / MET Technician, or a similar role, is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences).
