EcoSure - a division of Ecolab and an industry leader in food safety and brand protection, is rapidly expanding globally, which is why we are looking for a Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditor in the Leicester/Nottingham area.

Our specialists are unique safety experts on whom our clients in the food service and hospitality industry rely. We are looking for professionals to provide customized, comprehensive on-site evaluations and training to help our clients maintain the highest standards in food safety, cleanliness, guest experience and brand protection. These programs help our clients meet their expected quality standards through on-site evaluations and customized training programs.

What you will do:

  • Conduct food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations.
  • Consult, coach and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices.
  • Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges.
  • Perform a budgeted number of audits weekly that ensures high customer satisfaction.
  • Access and leverage industry leading food safety practices and ongoing, active monitoring of health inspection information.
  • Provide accurate reporting and ensure effective customer communication and relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have a L4 Food safety qualification.
  • Be based in or close to the territory.
  • Have own car/transport - Full clean driving licence.
  • Be available for weekdays/weekends/evenings.
  • Have auditing experience.
  • Have hospitality experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Food safety certifications preferred, such as HACCP, ISO22000, BRC or NEHA (RS, REHS or CP-FS) credentials.
  • Retail food safety experience and reviews of brand standards.
  • Teaching or coaching experience in a food related field.
  • Strong relationship management and advanced consulting skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively without supervision, demonstrate initiative, common sense and superior decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against deadlines.

This position will partner with Ecolab on an independent consulting basis. No immigration sponsorship available.
