A great opportunity has arisen for a handler to join a leading supplier to the Oil & Gas and Aerospace industry.
Job Description:
- Safe handling of internal revert solids, including segregation, packaging, preparation for VIM melting, and Alloy Stores stock levels.
- Safe handling of internal turnings, including segregation, packaging, preparation for External processing and sales.
- Safe handling of revert for Export on Containers.
- Safe handling of all internal revert movements with haulage between sites.
- Assisting with the accurate identifying and orderly storing raw materials and melting consumables.
- Carrying out requisite QA checks and material conformance acceptance, including the use of Niton XRF and Spectro analyser.
- Accurately weighing and identification of VIM charge constituents (sickness & vacation cover).
- Understanding the implications of quality hazards, thus maintaining a high standard of cleanliness/orderliness in accordance with plant standards.
- Following QA procedures and generating/maintaining prime records.
- Using computer based production control system to indicate completion of operations.
- Use of Overhead crane, FLT and Side loader.
- Use of E.P saws for cutting of scrap (if required).
- Use of Hilti Gun for applying lifting attachments.
- Supporting the CSEW team with customer despatches.

- Ability to interpret, follow and sign off work against internal procedures.
