Salary: £60,000 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in preparing the Group's half-year and full-year published consolidated financial statements under IFRS, including reviewing business results and liaising with the Group's external auditors.
- Support the preparation of the Group's monthly consolidated management accounts, including compiling financial information and reviewing commentaries for inclusion in the monthly Chief Executive's Report.
- Assist with the statutory accounts preparation process carried out by the Shared Services function, ensuring updates reflect the latest developments in corporate reporting and changes to accounting standards under FRS 101.
- Research recent developments in IFRS and company law, assessing their impact on the Group and rolling out new requirements.
- Undertake ad hoc finance-related projects, including reporting on business acquisitions and disposals.
Your skills and experiences:
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, ideally with experience at a 'Big 4' firm or a high-profile listed group reporting department.
- Expertise in consolidations and UK listed group reporting.
- Microsoft Office skills, with a particular focus on Excel.
- Comprehensive technical awareness of IFRS and FRS 101.
- Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Workiva - highly advantageous.

The Group Financial Reporting Team:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Group Financial Reporting team within the Head Office Group Finance function. You will gain valuable exposure to senior professionals, working across a diverse range of international businesses and internal UK head office functions. The breadth of this role offers a chance to enhance the reporting function, drive improvements, and build solid foundations for a rewarding career. You will have the scope to develop your expertise and explore progression opportunities - whether within the function or across the wider business. This is a full-time role, but part-time options of three days or more will be considered.
