We are working with a leading private equity-backed company undergoing a refinance, and seeking a high-calibre Interim FP&A / Financial Modelling Consultant to join on a 6-month contract. This is a project-driven role offering direct exposure to both the CFO and CEO.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the refinancing process by running sensitivity analysis on the existing 3-statement forecasting model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).
- Analyse prospective lender term sheets and prepare comparator analysis and scenario reviews.
- Incorporate financial covenant analysis into base and sensitivity models.
- Assist in preparing responses to lender Q&A and liaising with tax advisors on refinance-related matters.
- Support the CFO with balance sheet progression planning for deal completion.
- Review facility agreements and create summary memos for internal stakeholders.
- Take the lead in designing professional lender-facing slide decks, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Provide BAU support for monthly Board and Investor presentations (approx. 10% of the role).
- Extensive experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and corporate finance (either from practice or in-house).
- Strong understanding of 3-statement modelling and scenario analysis.
- Prior experience supporting refinancing transactions, ideally in a PE-backed environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - must be capable of building and presenting complex information clearly and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence working closely with senior executives.
- Highly proactive and self-sufficient with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
