About the role
  • Support actuarial analysis and reporting using standard techniques and tools.
  • Contribute to business-as-usual tasks and project work across the Finance & Actuarial teams: Business Quality Management, New Business Reporting, Pensions and Protection Pricing.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving actuarial models, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Apply knowledge from actuarial studies to real-world tasks and problem-solving.
  • Help identify risks and suggest improvements to processes and controls.
  • Progress through actuarial exams with support from a structured study programme.
About you
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Graduate in a mathematical discipline with an interest in actuarial science or currently studying towards the actuarial exams.
  • Fewer than 4 scoring passes at Core level of actuarial qualification.
  • Good understanding of life and pensions products and actuarial techniques.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Clear and confident communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload effectively.
