The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to assist in the day-to-day presentation and maintenance of our luxury development! You'll provide first-line response to all building support requests and work orders raised. As our go-to person, with knowledge of how to keep the development running smoothly, you'll oversee and carry out fabric and minor repairs.
You will work Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:30pm, with some occasional weekend work may be required.

What will you do?
- Check the work order system daily for current reactive and future works.
- Carry out lighting checks and replace light bulbs.
- Ensure works are completed to a high standard within a realistic timeframe.
- Carry out decoration and repairs within 5 days, ready for letting.
- Liaise with the Building Manager to prioritize workload and communicate effectively.
- Maintain statutory compliance, keeping records of sheets and data.
- Inform the company of any additional works needed at the location.
- Work independently and support team members and goals.
- Ensure all works are compliant with HSE and water bye-laws.
- Respond effectively to emergency call-outs and situations.
- Provide general maintenance assistance, including furniture building, hanging pictures, and helping residents familiarize with their new apartments and systems.
- Support the team with ad hoc duties, including manning the front reception desk, assisting with general inquiries, and supporting the housekeeper when needed.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- IOSH Working Safely qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with CAFM systems, preferably web-based.
- Background in maintenance within residential properties or student accommodation.
- Basic painting skills and understanding of decorating and fabric repairs.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of COSHH.
- Knowledge of basic water systems and L8 standards.
- City and Guilds Multi Skills Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
