A great opportunity for a Buyer or Senior Buyer with some experience in an engineering or construction environment. Major infrastructure / Engineering client based on the South East coast.
Our client is a major organization in the Engineering/Infrastructure industry. They are experiencing a busy and exciting period of growth and are looking to expand their team.
You will be responsible for supporting all associated commercial activities to achieve value creation and minimize total cost of ownership, including executing the full sourcing lifecycle and delivering against procurement and value management strategies.
You will collaborate with the Senior Category Manager and business leads to deliver category-specific strategies, including sourcing and contracting.
Knowledge of the public procurement act or a CIPS qualification would be advantageous. A proactive, can-do attitude and a continuous improvement mindset are essential!
