The FP&A Manager is a pivotal member of the UK Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for overseeing event reporting across the RX UK and German business units. This role manages the financial reporting process for a portfolio of events and serves as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders, including event and portfolio leaders as well as senior management. They play a critical role in delivering financial insights, forecasting, and strategic guidance to support executive decision-making. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with broader corporate objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted finance partner to event and portfolio leaders, providing strategic and operational support.
- Acting as the primary finance contact for events in your portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborating across departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations, credit control) to support event performance.
- Leading the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Ensuring financial data is accurately entered and maintained across all relevant systems.
- Analyzing and consolidating financial results, including foreign exchange impacts, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- Preparing and delivering clear, actionable financial reports highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Upholding financial reporting standards (IFRS), supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
Requirements:
- Professionally qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience of financial ERP systems, with Oracle / Hyperion an advantage.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a dynamic business environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal control frameworks.
