The Role
As a CRO Specialist (Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist) at Brightscout, you will play a key role in driving significant increases in website conversion rates and optimizing the user journey. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven testing strategies, analyzing user behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall digital performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end CRO projects, including website optimizations, funnel redesigns, and UX enhancements, aligning with client KPIs.
- Develop and execute detailed A/B testing plans, defining hypotheses and goals, and proactively address potential design and functionality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, project managers) to implement CRO experiments and deliver timely, actionable insights to clients.
- Analyze website data, conduct user research, and perform usability testing to identify conversion opportunities and inform design and development decisions.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to clients, explaining the impact of design and development choices on conversion rates.
- Optimize calls-to-action, lead generation elements, and website content for improved conversion, considering both SEO and user experience.
- Monitor technical website performance (speed, mobile responsiveness) and SEO metrics (keyword rankings, visibility) to ensure optimal conversion potential.
- Identify and mitigate testing risks, continuously improve CRO strategies, and develop audit reports with prioritized fixes and action plans.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization within web development, design agencies, or related digital service environments.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of CRO methodologies, A/B testing, and user behavior analysis, specifically within the context of website design and development.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).
- Strong analytical and technical background with a focus on data interpretation, particularly as it relates to website performance and user experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their impact on landing page performance and overall conversion rates.
- Experience with user research methodologies, including usability testing, user interviews, and user personas.
- Understanding of information architecture and user interface (UI) / user experience (UX) design principles.
