Complex Wound Specialist - South West (Cornwall, Devon and Somerset)

At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. We are looking for someone who can develop and build meaningful and positive relationships with our customers. We need someone confident working across the Acute & Community care setting with a clear focus on key decision makers like: Tissue Viability Nurses, Theatre and Ward Nurses, District Nurses, Podiatrists (including leg ulcer and vascular specialists) and Clinical Leads.

What will you be doing?

Working to our business plan, we would love to see improved service provision and efficiency of the business. We would love to see the CWS deliver consultative clinical expertise, insights and support as part of our commercial proposals & presentations - with specific focus on services such as Wound Care Snapshot audits, Digital CDS tool, Clinical Pathways and Clinical Projects.

What does success look like?

Our number one focus is to increase adoption and sales across the S+N Advanced Wound Device brands; PICO, Renasys and Infection Management. This is achieved by providing clinical and technical support to HCPs through training programmes, specific wound clinical support and selling the clinical benefits of S+N products through regular contact with target customers across the Community and Acute channels. Additionally, there will be a focus to support projects and drive usage across the entire range of Smith+Nephew products!

Successful candidates would need the following:

  • A registered nurse, you’ll either come straight from a healthcare setting or already be in industry. Alternatively, you may have a podiatry background.
  • You’ll have a genuine care for patients and an interest in wound healing.
  • Tissue viability experience is advantageous.
  • A full driving license is required.

Travel Requirements: At least 75% of your time would be 'on the road' meeting with customers in clinical settings across the territory.
