Our fantastic client are recruiting for an experienced Print & Direct Mail Account Manager / Account Executive to join their talented team. As the Account Manager you will look after a portfolio of clients across various niche markets, including Clinical, Transactional Billing, Training and Events. You will be the liaison between customers and fast-paced shop floor, making sure each department meets their needs on time.
The Account Management team play a fundamental role in achieving targets by fully understanding customers’ needs and requirements whilst maintaining and expanding their current account base. Coupled with this, you will be responsible for issuing accurate instructions to the factory and recording all transactions on their MIS system. You must work in an organised manner, be able to take ownership of your work and be able to proactively manage work in progress.
A bit more about the Account Manager opportunity:
- Raising accurate Estimates on our MIS system capturing all costs and quoting customers.
- Briefing Operation Managers to ensure each project is produced to the highest quality.
- Updating Dashboards and Work in Progress spreadsheets for visibility.
- Creating Job Bags, ensuring instructions are accurate and clear for all departments.
- Consulting with suppliers to arrange Outwork and developing relationships, ensuring our Warehouse & Purchasing Manager can accurately raise and receipt Purchase Orders raised on the MIS system.
- Manage all work in progress effectively, making certain that you know at what stage in production your jobs are progressing to throughout their journey.
- Ensuring the product is manufactured to the exact customer specification, to a high standard, and that it is delivered on time, including signing off proofs.
About the successful Account Manager:
- Experience working in the Print sector with a background in Digital and Litho print.
- Experience of mailing / Direct Mail is desirable.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised.
- Intermediate IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to take initiative.
