My client is looking for an experienced JIRA Administrator to join the team for a 6 months maternity cover contract.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing administration and management of Jira and Confluence systems.
- Management of access controls.
- Design and Implementation of workflow automations, dashboards etc.
- Task data management, manipulation and reporting.
- Assistant to the development environment systems manager.
- Application of operating system and firmware patches, licences and upgrades on a regular basis.
- Provide technical IT support to members of the development environment system.
- Perform regular security monitoring to enforce the development environment security operating instructions and report any breaches accordingly.
- Conduct scheduled backup operations and verification to ensure business continuity.
- Create, administer and archive development environment user accounts and workstations.
- Maintenance of development environment end user devices and servers.
- Troubleshooting and recovery from hardware or software based outages.
- Control the import and export of data from the development environment system.
Provide programmatic support against:
- Creation of JIRA and Confluence dashboards in support of new initiatives or at request of programme manager.
- Data analysis and metric creation to support programme delivery using Atlassian tool set.
- Configuration of Atlassian bolt-on applications (Big Picture/Align).
- Demonstration and coaching of Atlassian products to programme team.
Must have Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the Atlassian range of software (Confluence, Bitbucket, JIRA).
- Experience of Jira database schemas and datasets.
- Extensive experience of JQL.
- Previous experience of planning, preparing and executing upgrades of Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence.
- Previous experience of verifying and validating upgrades to Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence and applying bulk data changes and fixes.
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (both server and client).
Desirable:
- Microsoft Powershell CLI.
- ITIL foundation knowledge (change management etc).
- Knowledge of Microsoft server applications (such as SCCM).
