Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again. We’re building a different kind of company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look to how they sound, feel, and function, we care about the details that make technology not just useful, but inspiring. This is a place for the curious. The creators. The ones who ask why not and mean it. If you’re drawn to bold ideas, fast moves, and work that actually makes you feel something, you’ll fit right in. We’re not here to follow the rules. We’re here to make better ones.

About Nothing: Founded in London in 2020, Nothing is a design-led tech company building an alternative to the industry giants. Our products – from award-winning smartphones to expressive audio and wearables – blend iconic design with intuitive engineering to put people and creativity back at the centre of consumer tech. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, C Ventures, and influential investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’ve grown from startup to global challenger in just a few years.

The Role: We’re hiring a People Coordinator to join our UK team and support our People Operations Manager. You’ll be a key player in helping us build a streamlined people function as we look to gear up for our next stage of growth.

What You’ll Get: Let’s start with the fun stuff, our benefits. From day one you’ll get access to a whole bunch of perks including:

  • 25 days of annual leave, plus a day off for your birthday
  • Private Health Insurance via AXA
  • Gym, hobby and L&D allowance to support your wellbeing and personal growth
  • Cycle schemes for both renting an e-bike or buying your own
  • Free lunch on Thursday, plus breakfast and snacks to keep you fuelled

But it’s not just about the benefits, we think this is a great opportunity to grow your career in People too:

  • Work with a global team across China, India, the UK and US getting exposure to different perspectives and ways of working
  • Join a team that’s genuinely passionate about what they do and wants to shake up the tech industry
  • Experiment, explore and push boundaries. No ideas are written off
  • Collaborate with people from a mix of backgrounds. From big tech to others who’ve built companies from the ground up
  • Embrace change, every twist and turn provides a new learning opportunity

Soo... what will you actually be doing?

  • Supporting the global onboarding and off-boarding process, from creating docs to keeping comms clear and friendly
  • Making sure our People systems are accurate, updated and working smoothly
  • Be a go to for employee questions, helping build trust and connection with our team
  • Helping craft a unique and engaging office vibe alongside our workplace team
  • Pitching in on wider people projects, from process improvements, system integrations and more

Requirements: So that’s what you’ll get. But here’s what we’re hoping you will bring. If you don’t meet every single bullet point but still think you’re a great fit, we’d still like to hear from you.

  • A basic understanding of People policies, from probation periods to benefits
  • Experience working with modern tools. Think Google, HRIS and Greenhouse
  • Great written and verbal communication. You can craft warm, clear and human messages
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support your work, while not leaning on them for everything
  • A natural curiosity and desire to both learn, as well as ask why
  • Organisational skills and the ability to stay focused when juggling people and priorities
