We are recruiting for a Hotel Purchasing Manager to join the Purchasing team at easyJet holidays. Our Hotel Purchasing Managers are responsible for contracting hotels, ensuring that rates and conditions are competitive, and developing our brand within the destination and leveraging supplier relationships to develop the program and increase production within existing properties, ensuring that easyJet holidays is the preferred partner of choice for accommodation suppliers.

In this role you’ll assume ultimate accountability for directly contracted hotels in regards of health & safety, content, rate competitiveness and room availability, as well as continual analysis of day to day trading and potential blockers to sales to proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and margin through the acquisition of offers, discounts, ETA or challenge of stop sales. Through your relationships with local contacts, you’ll gather information that can help to define the destination strategy and you’ll work with hotel partners to adopt new process and system efficiencies, including sustainability, e-billing payment platform, easyJet extranet and ultimately channel managers.

What you’ll bring to the team: We are looking for somebody who has established relationships with key hotel decision makers across the easyJet holidays network. You’ll need a comprehensive understanding of the key components of FIT contracting, preferably developed within a tour operator environment, and the ability to prioritise the ongoing management of the contracts as well as the buying lifecycle (day to day trading, resolving invoicing or reclaim queries, health & safety). You’ll be confident to work alone, but mindful of the requirement of the business to follow process and governance. The role requires frequent travel.

What’s in it for you: In addition to your competitive base salary, we offer an all-inclusive benefits package which includes our company-wide bonus scheme and a 7% pension contribution. We offer a variety of share options and life assurance, and we have an impressive range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs. You’ll have access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, as well as free easyJet Plus membership and annual holiday vouchers. At easyJet holidays, we’re committed to supporting our team with development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere. We create unforgettable experiences for our customers, we strive to do the same for our people. The possibilities are endless with us, where would you like to go?
