Our client is looking for a C# .NET Engineer for a 6-month rolling project, working at a leading Cross Asset Trading and Broking house. This client deals in both physical and non-physical commodities as well as trading Energy. They have recently seen a requirement to integrate systems into an ETRM application to enhance the Energy trading capability within the company. This has resulted in the need for this C# developer to join them as they enhance their energy trading desk within the company.
This developer will be focused on the BACK END and come into the team as an established Energy Trading specialist developer as well as leading and upskilling peers around them. Having previous commercial experience in the Energy Trading space is going to be essential for this role.
This backend C# .NET engineering role is:
- This role is paying up to £800/day Inside IR35
- This hybrid role is 3 days in office
- The office is in Central London
Technology Stack / Experience:

- SQL Server
- Microservices / Event Driven Architecture

As a member of the Energy trading team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering production software as well as contributing to the wider technical architecture. This role requires a good communicator, someone who has experience facing off to the business in Financial Services companies and who can face off to traders and operations directly.
