Refrigeration engineer East of London/Basildon/Chelmsford/Braintree

Basic salary up to £50,800 for a 42.5 hour week.

We are specialists in refrigeration systems and have been established for 20 years. We have clients and contracts across the UK across various premises such as convenience stores, care homes, public houses and restaurants.

The role:

You will be working mostly on Refrigeration; however, experience in Air Conditioning is also preferred. You will be responsible for the service and repair of a wide range of Refrigeration and AC Equipment including upright and under counter fridges and freezers, display fridges, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, bottle coolers, and split systems.

Qualifications:

  • FGAS Cat 1 NVQ level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning – desirable
  • Hydrocarbon or CO2 – advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experienced Field based Refrigeration & A/C Engineer required for service maintenance and repair.

Package:

  • Basic salary up to £50,830 (£23 p/h)
  • 42.5 hour working week
  • Required Overtime 7.5 hours per week (annually £7605)
  • Door to door travel
  • 1 in 4 call out – standby payment £200
  • Overtime x1.5
  • Van with private use (pay per mile)
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension – 5% contribution
