Our client, a leader in their field, is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join their growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve yield or manufacturing efficiency and lead continuous improvement activities.
• Initiate and lead long-term team projects.
• Plan and execute procurement, installation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
• Update and produce technical documentation, including operating instructions, inspection standards, and PFMEAs.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers.
• Support production daily, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues promptly.
• Develop detailed knowledge of the production process and equipment.
• Liaise with customers.
• Support existing product lines and processes throughout their lifecycle.
• Assist in executing the business strategic plan and stay updated with new technologies and opportunities.
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to health and safety legislation.
• Occasional visits to customers or suppliers and potential foreign travel may be required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Familiarity with electronics and mechanical CAD design (desirable).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and statistical process techniques (desirable).
• Familiarity with Mil standards and design for high reliability environments (desirable).
• Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with die bonding and wire bonding in microelectronic or hybrid manufacturing environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and effective communication.
• Strong organizational, planning, and attention to detail.
• Technical bias with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications for documentation and reporting.

Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
