About you: We are looking for a mid level Garment Technologist with a minimum of 3 years experience across dresses or softs, to join our growing Tech Team at Nobody’s Child. Reporting into the Senior Garment Technologist, you will provide support to the dresses department while leading your own product areas. You will work alongside a thriving and growing tech team whilst also working alongside the wider team and key external partners.

Day to day your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead fit sessions with Design and Buying Team to ensure product meets the required quality standard.
  • Liaising with factories and development teams to improve fit and quality.
  • Approving pre-production samples straight to production will be key.
  • Assessing construction and quality of the product.
  • Understanding Test reports and bring solutions to resolve any quality issues.
  • Consistently review make and quality standards and identify areas where improvement can be made.
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of product grading.
  • Confident in reviewing and approving grading.

Ideally you will have:

  • Strong understanding of softs across jersey and wovens, occasion would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience working across softs department on tech in a fast growing womenswear retailer.
  • Any experience working on the interlink platform would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability and Certifications.
  • Be able to manage the workload and prioritise accordingly in a very fast paced environment.
