We are on the hunt for a passionate, proactive Content and Social Media Executive to represent and elevate the Start Fitness brand across digital platforms and real-world environments. You will be the voice behind our community, helping to grow and engage audiences through content that inspires, informs, and connects.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more — building our online community and bringing our brand values to life. You’ll attend events, work with ambassadors, and collaborate closely with internal and external partners to create compelling social content and campaigns. This is the perfect role for someone who has a passion for running and fitness and wants to make a genuine impact on a growing brand.

  • Manage and maintain all company social media channels, increasing visibility and follower growth through regular, engaging content and strategic outreach.
  • Represent the Start Fitness brand at in-person and sponsored events, actively engaging with attendees to grow our community and highlight our nationwide support across a variety of events and levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and create engaging, on-brand content for regular posts, product launches, and campaigns—ensuring a consistent tone of voice, strong copywriting, and alignment with key brand messages.
  • Transform briefs into innovative design concepts and creative solutions, applying original thinking to develop fresh ideas and visuals.
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content for social media, with a strong eye for storytelling, visual composition, and adapting content to different formats and platforms.
  • Design and execute social media strategies to boost brand awareness and closely engage with our audience at an interpersonal level, while also managing existing campaign initiatives.
  • Track social media trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks, providing strategic recommendations to support business growth.
  • Develop and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with each brand and social platform’s guidelines, aiming to drive growth through organic and paid methods.
  • Manage paid social advertising campaigns to ensure budget compliance and meet target ROAS.
  • Lead and coordinate our ambassador and influencer programs, collaborating with content creation partner agencies as needed.
  • Actively communicate and engage with our audience across social media channels to strengthen community relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Analyse insights and algorithms regularly, and learn from both successful and poor-performing content.

Experienced in leveraging all major social media platforms, with up-to-date insight into digital trends, platform capabilities, and their alignment with broader strategic goals. Thrive in a fast-paced team environment, adapting quickly to shifting demands, priorities, briefs, and deadlines. Skilled in developing creative, cost-effective content and capable of producing quality photography and videography independently—a distinct advantage. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom), CAPCUT, and Canva. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while following internal processes.
