Fame Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Accounts Manager to join a well-established Accountancy Firm based in North London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to take ownership of a diverse and dynamic client portfolio — ranging from owner-managed businesses to listed companies on the London Stock Exchange.

As an Accounts Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the delivery of statutory and management reporting as well as playing a key role in team development, workflow management and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Manage a client portfolio with responsibility for planning, delivery and finalisation
  • Maintain accurate WIP records, prepare billing, quotes and tender documentation
  • Contribute to the commercial success and development of the department

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification with a minimum of 4 years’ practice experience
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102 and experience preparing accounts for various entity types
  • Strong people management skills with experience overseeing teams of 10+ staff
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Caseware, CCH, Sage, Xero
  • Experience with consolidations and group accounts (beneficial)
