The predicted salary is between 44000 - 66000 £ per year.

A leading automotive client is undergoing a major transformation in how it designs and builds its vehicles, including the introduction of a cutting-edge PLM system (3DExperience). As part of this shift, we are looking for a Manufacturing BOM Engineer – Release Specialist to join the team and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and smooth delivery of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs).

This is a year contract position paying £220 a day.

  • Manage and release Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) using DELMIA/3DExperience
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and change management
  • Track release progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks when needed
  • Support manufacturing teams with alerts and internal deviations, ensuring build accuracy

Proven experience in engineering release or BOM management (preferably in automotive) is required. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and part structures is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating complex engineering structures and working with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana, WERS, GSPAS, or other automotive systems is a plus. Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA or Confluence is beneficial.
