About the location: Set in the heart of the City, overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Tower Bridge is the starting point for discovering London’s historic past, alongside its exhilarating present. The Role of the Accounting Supervisor: This position will act as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in the Finance department, overseeing the Accounts Receivable function and supporting the income audit function on a daily basis for both Hotel and Private Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable function, including billing, invoicing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor guest and group accounts, ensuring proper posting of charges and prompt follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, collaborating with front office, sales, and reservations teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and financial controls, as well as brand and local regulatory standards.
  • Generate and review aging reports, following up with clients and third-party partners to reduce outstanding balances.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries posting, preparation and review of the P&L statement, and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

The ideal Accounting Supervisor candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Hotel Finance, preferably in Accounts Receivable function.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (Opera PMS) is preferred.
  • Understanding of billing procedures, credit policies, and collections processes.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to manage own tasks, as well as working effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Schedule and hours: This role will operate Monday through Friday with standard office hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. You will be based at Four Seasons Tower Bridge 5 days a week. We look forward to receiving your application!
