Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analytical Chemist to work in our analytical services department, a modern well-equipped laboratory, which provides support to our research and manufacturing departments.
The successful candidate will have a degree which is chemistry or analytical chemistry based. They will have experience in most modern analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FT-IR, LC-MS and wet chemistry techniques.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential for working with both customers and colleagues. Experience of chiral HPLC / GC, method development and working to cGMP principles would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations and verifications for equipment in the Analytical laboratory
- Maintain a high standard of lab cleanliness and tidiness
- Maintain GMP standards at all times
- Liaise with Senior staff within analytical and other departments where required
- All analysis, calibrations, and verifications to be documented to GMP standards (ALCOA++)
- Level 1 trained in change controls, ANCR and OOS procedures
