Joinery CAD Draughtsman / Project Manager required with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-end bespoke furniture. Armstrong Vinton Furniture in Southwest London is a celebrated manufacturer of high-end furniture and architectural joinery. We are looking for a Draughtsman to join our friendly, well-equipped, modern workshop.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft accurate production quality drawings showing all technical details for the manufacture of bespoke furniture and joinery.
- Carry out accurate site surveys, in London, home counties and occasionally abroad.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, craftspeople and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes.
- Support estimators and report cost variations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a joinery background with experience of making high-end bespoke furniture.
- Have good knowledge and experience of drafting in AutoCAD or SolidWorks - all other drawing software will be considered.
- Have an extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and hardware.
- Have the ability to meet deadlines, be organised, and work individually or as part of a team.
- Possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Be willing to work overtime if required.
- Have experience of project managing and delivering joinery packages with a value of GBP(Apply online only)k.
