We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Revenue Assurance Manager to take ownership of our Revenue Assurance function. In this critical role, you will lead the charge in identifying revenue risks, preventing leakage, and strengthening the control environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive revenue assurance strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead initiatives to detect, prevent, and recover revenue leakage across all business units.
- Identify gaps in operational processes, systems, and data flows that could lead to revenue loss and drive process improvements to enhance revenue efficiency and financial performance.
- Establish controls to mitigate risks related to revenue leakage, fraud, and billing discrepancies.
- Oversee revenue data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern.
- Provide actionable insights and reports to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and data integrity related to revenue assurance.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to financial controls, identifying any variances and intolerances.
- Analyse existing billing, invoicing, and collection processes to identify inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to improve revenue management systems.
- Implement automation and technological solutions for better revenue tracking.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to create awareness and collaboration around revenue assurance objectives.
- Lead and develop a small team ensuring high-quality outputs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Relevant experience in the telecommunications industry is desired but not essential.
- Understanding of revenue assurance processes, including a deep understanding of end-to-end process and framework is required.
- Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, billing platforms, and mediation systems is required.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets to identify anomalies and root causes of revenue leakage.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple revenue assurance initiatives concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings cross-functionally with the ability to tailor the message appropriately.
- Familiarity with internal controls, SOX compliance, and risk-based auditing.
- Experience with automation tools to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across departments.
