Core Responsibilities
Provide the overall direction, strategy and leadership to Sales associates within the area of responsibility to achieve Sales goals within the Sales expense budget. Expect excellence and professionalism from all Sales associates in performance of their functions. Be part of the UK management team by understanding and managing the Sales role in achieving the division\’s revenue, profit and retention goals. Act as thought Leader on both the Sales and UK Leadership Teams to provide strategic direction and achieve outcome through leading others by example.
- Attain or exceed 100% of assigned Sales quota within required product mix.
- Manage the Area\’s NSE, direct and indirect selling and set-up expense budget objectives.
- Prepare a business plan to identify how the area/region will achieve the assigned Sales goals.
- Work closely with direct or matrix reports to implement the Business Plan for the area/region.
- Work closely and in partnership with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of Sales.
- Review Corporate lead generating activities by region and determine region\’s results. Feedback results and suggestions to the relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for Human Resource management activities for the area such as the maintenance of proper staffing levels, attainment of desired associate retention rates, harmonious associate relations, monitoring performance management plans, and incorporating excellent associate communication channels.
- Manage the implementation and proper execution of Career Development and succession plans to ensure that career pathing opportunities are communicated to all levels of Sales teams as well as building for future strength.
- Ensure strong organization and brand presence/reputation in the marketplace.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years experience of managing sales leaders, and ideally 3rd line leadership experience from complex SaaS / Software sales environments
- At least 10+ years total sales and leadership experience and substantial experience as a sales executive prior to leadership
- Previous experience within the Human Capital Management (HCM), or related markets
- Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, professionalism and business planning capability
- Participates with General Management and Operations to achieve Sales revenue profit and client retention objectives
- Track record of, and skillset required for, working within the complex matrix structures of global organisations
- Ability to demonstrate good self and team awareness; how to navigate complex problem solving and influence teams towards both collective and individual goals
