The EMEA Automated Clearing House (ACH) Payments Product Management Team is a dynamic and diverse Product team responsible for product strategy, development, commercialization and local relevance of payment products across the region. The products developed will be used by global financial institutions and corporations executing payments and will focus on streamlining the client experience while reducing operational costs and risks within the current model.
As a Product Associate in the ACH Payments Product Management Team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities:
- Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop and implement new solutions and product improvements that are globally consistent.
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
- Analyses, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Analyses and implements regulatory changes and updates that are applicable to the product in coverage.
- Manages P&L (Profit & Loss) including accurate financial planning and delivery against revenue and expense targets.
- Understands the risks inherent in low value payment products and drives programs to reduce or eliminate.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Fluency in English.
- Understanding of how low value (ACH) clearing systems operate.
- Knowledge of the product development life cycle.
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- First understanding of low value payments such as BACS, SEPA, RIBA, etc. beneficial.
- Expertise in product management, with a focus on payments, is a plus.
