WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a senior-level creative design leader with a passion for storytelling through space and experience. In this role, you’ll bring our brand to life across the UK & Ireland by designing and executing best-in-class visual merchandising and retail environments. You’ll be the creative force bridging global brand direction with local market relevance, partnering with iconic retailers like Selfridges, Harrods, and Boots to shape impactful in-store moments that reflect our brand DNA. WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Lead the creative visual merchandising strategy for the UK & Ireland, translating global brand vision into compelling, locally relevant retail experiences.
- Act as the design lead and key liaison between UK & Ireland teams and the Global VM Retail Experience Team to ensure alignment and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with the UK VM Project Manager on design timelines, budgeting, and flawless execution of creative deliverables.
- Design and present prototypes and concepts for high-impact retail environments, from Selfridges to Harrods and other premium partners.
- Oversee all stages of VM and creative programs — from concept and fixture design to planograms and installation — ensuring brand consistency.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and engineers to bring best-in-class store displays and storytelling to life.
- Create and adapt regional visual assets using the global toolkit, tailored to the needs of UK-specific retail campaigns and spaces.
- Confidently present design solutions at key project milestones, incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK retail formats, competitor trends, and innovation in beauty and lifestyle merchandising.
- Participate actively in global creative reviews and team meetings, ensuring all design work reflects brand standards and strategic goals.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Extensive design experience in the retail space, with a proven ability to translate brand strategy into impactful, end-to-end creative and VM projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple timelines while driving projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for presenting creative ideas clearly and partnering cross-functionally across teams and retail partners.
- Technical proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), with knowledge of materials, technical drawings, and production processes.
- Creative leadership mindset — self-starter, problem-solver, and team player who inspires, adapts quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, high-energy setting.
