Business Development Executive for Top Investment Firm / Fund Sales / Wealth / Private Equity / Venture Capital / Sustainability / ESG / Investment Sales / Impact Investing

Salary: £28k – £30k + £10k Bonus (1st year)

Role Overview

No previous financial services experience is needed, but you must be a highly motivated, articulate, and passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.

The team is expanding rapidly, aiming to provide unmatched technical expertise, commercial support, and personal service in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate Financial Advisers on the fund range and its appeal as a potential investment for their clients
  • Collaborate with an External BDM to develop and execute regional business plans
  • Manage and develop existing Adviser / IFA relationships
  • Build and expand the client base
  • Serve as the point of contact for all inbound Financial Adviser queries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Implement new sales and marketing campaigns
  • Educate and empower financial advisers to meet their clients\’ needs
  • Mentor and train team members
  • Arrange adviser meetings for External BDMs and conduct meetings independently when needed
  • Provide product feedback and identify adviser needs
  • Facilitate communication between Business Line and Product Managers and advisers
  • Enhance internal systems for greater efficiency
  • Deliver presentations to Advisers
  • Attend and support industry conferences and seminars
  • Contribute as a product expert or deputy in virtual product teams
  • Continuously update industry and product knowledge

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of sales experience from any industry, with various levels of seniority
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Target-driven with clear KPIs
  • Ability to develop business plans quickly and demonstrate results
  • Resilience demonstrated through past achievements
  • Excellent listening skills and strategic questioning ability
  • Collaborative team player
