We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead a high-impact digital transformation project within a prestigious education setting. This role is focused on delivering a new web and intranet platform, consolidating hundreds of decentralised sites into a modern, user-focused solution.
The Project Context:
This organisation spans over 100 departments and institutes – each with their own web presence. Most of these websites are maintained by non-technical staff who manage them alongside their core roles. You will be leading delivery across the rebuild and migration of these websites into a new Drupal 10-based platform, replacing an older Drupal 7 estate of 600+ sites. The project has significant visibility and impact, feeding into a broader portfolio of digital experience work across the organisation.
- End-to-end delivery management across a complex multi-stakeholder environment
- Facilitating agile ceremonies, removing blockers, supporting delivery teams
- Working closely with internal stakeholders – many with limited digital knowledge
- Supporting decision-making around CMS migration, integration, and content strategy
- Has strong agile delivery management experience (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar)
- Has delivered large-scale web or CMS projects (Drupal ideal but not essential)
- Is comfortable working with a wide range of digital maturity and technical understanding
Shape digital experiences used by thousands of students, staff and researchers. Excellent pension and benefits. Hybrid role with only one day per month travel outside of London. A collaborative, supportive team with a great work/life balance.
