An elite global law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its dynamic European team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to support business development efforts across the firm’s London, Brussels, and Madrid offices.
About the Role: Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, this position will be central to the execution of marketing, communications, events, and strategic client initiatives in Europe. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in legal business development or professional services marketing and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of pitches, proposals, and client-facing materials
- Monitor industry news and market trends to inform business development strategies
- Assist in coordinating submissions for legal directories and awards
- Create and maintain compelling presentations and marketing collateral
- Conduct research to support targeting, sponsorships, and client outreach
- Help plan and execute business development events in Europe and globally
- Collaborate with colleagues in the UK, Europe, and the US to ensure aligned brand and messaging
- Maintain and update marketing databases, lawyer bios, and website content
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in business development or marketing, ideally within a law firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems a plus
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
