Description
Fairport Tunnelling Technologies (FTT) became a division of Fairport Engineering Limited in 2021. Recently acquired by pxGroup, FTT is now pxFairport. We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specializing in design, installation, management, and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across sectors like tunneling, aggregates, and ports. Our experience includes successful projects in the UK, Europe, and Asia.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Commercial Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, timely, and accurate internal financial information for management and budget holders.
- Follow the Group's financial procedures diligently to ensure legal compliance.
- Act as a positive role model and leader for the finance team.
- Perform line management duties if required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Minimum Requirements:
- Chartered accountancy qualification - CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience in preparing financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Ability to produce cost and ad hoc reports.
- Experience maintaining ledgers and reconciliations.
- Ability to present financial and commercial ideas effectively.
