About the Role
WIPRO is seeking a proactive and skilled individual with a robust operational background in IP/MPLS/Ethernet/SDH networks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring that outsourced services meet exceptional standards of performance and compliance.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience managing outsourced services within an ITIL framework, demonstrating ability to set directions, implement controls, and maintain high standards in operational network settings.
- A strong understanding of the technologies and systems that constitute the network, telemetry, and SCADA infrastructure is highly beneficial.
- Proficient use of network monitoring tools for effective fault detection and resolution within complex networks is crucial.
Should also be able to interpret security and external regulations that influence the operational efficiency and compliance of our networks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Acting as the principal liaison for business service operations, overseeing project transitions and service management.
- Manage all resources, including third-party service providers, ensuring that operational management and control of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) SCADA systems and networks are resilient, secure, and functioning at optimal levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure that any modifications to the networks do not compromise their safe operational integrity.
- Work closely with Audit, Security, and relevant government bodies to maintain compliance with policies and standards essential for CNI networks.
- Participate actively in incident management, ensuring quick recovery and restoring operational resilience.
- Lead root cause analysis to derive lessons from incidents, applying these insights to avoid future occurrences.
- Oversee the annual budget, diligently tracking expenditures against the approved budget plan.
- Implement and test disaster recovery plans to fortify network reliability.
Certifications
- Industry certifications such as ITIL Practitioner, CCNA/DA, CCNP, or Security-related credentials.
