We’ve partnered with a leading groundworks subcontractor to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to support their Northern region. Part of a large, well-respected infrastructure business, they’ve earned a reputation for delivering complex ground engineering and foundation solutions across both commercial and domestic sectors. The business has multiple offices across the country, so you could be based in the Midlands or the North.

This is a key role within a stable and supportive health and safety team. You’ll work closely with operational colleagues across multiple sites, providing practical support and driving a positive safety culture on the ground. Working across Energy, Rail, Construction, or Infrastructure, this is a diverse role where no day is the same and will give you a broad exposure to many different environments, which would ideally suit a professional with some level of experience within a Construction based environment, looking for the next step in their career!

Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor include:

  • Supporting site teams across groundworks projects with day-to-day health, safety matters.
  • Conducting site inspections, audits and reporting.
  • Promoting a positive safety culture through coaching and engagement.
  • Supporting compliance with ISO standards and industry accreditations.
  • Investigating incidents and supporting closeout of actions.
  • Liaising with clients and operational teams on health and safety performance.
