Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a fast growing Edinburgh-based business for the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with strong hands on experience in month-end and account preparation tasks.
Please note: this contract might have the opportunity of extension/conversion to permanent.
Reporting to one of the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation
- VAT returns
- Liaising with external auditors
- Partnering with European stakeholders
- Ad hoc tasks
Requirements for the role:
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA part- or recently qualified- QBE can also be considered
- Previous experience in an assistant/management accountant role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- IT and finance system experience (including Excel)
- Candidate should ideally be Immediately available or on a short notice, however 4 weeks notice periods are also considered.
Salary offered up to £48k per annum, DOE plus benefits. Hybrid working week.
