Area of Expertise
Licensing/Business Development Expert (UK)
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute licensing or business development strategies for international companies entering the UK / for UK companies entering the Asian market.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate licensing deals across key sectors.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis to guide entry strategies and assess competition.
- Ensure compliance with IP and regulatory requirements.
- Support onboarding and integration of international partners.
- Track and report on licensing performance and key metrics.
- Develop and execute reimbursement strategies if needed.
Qualifications
- Required: At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals/medical device development industry.
- Strong experience with licensing, business development.
- Experience with international parties expanding into the UK is a plus.
- Proficiency in any Asian language is a plus.
Compensation/Work Style
Compensation: Approx. USD150 - 250 /hr (varies depending on project details).
Work Style: Remote. Work style and hours vary depending on client projects. Most opportunities typically last for a few months, and schedules are flexible, with adjustments made in consultation with clients.
Travel: Some projects may require business travel, depending on the client’s project details. (Travel expenses will be reimbursed separately.)
Participation will be under a service agreement with xCARE.
