Description of the role: Leading the development of products by exploring new designs, materials and techniques. Working closely with the production team and technical service team to identify challenges. Ensuring tooling and material flows support with your design ideas. Creating functional models and mock-up designs to test design concepts. Choosing new materials and optimising them for production processes. Ensuring all designs and materials align with the performance goals of the product.About you: Experience in 3D, AutoCAD and Solidworks. Bachelor\’s degree in industrial design, product design or mechanical engineering. Experience with product testing, performance evaluations and applying feedback. 10 years\’ experience of working within the uPVC/Aluminium industry. Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
