Job Description:
We’re looking for a high-impact, hands-on, Senior People Business Partner Manager, based in the UK, to support and partner with our key leaders and teams for the UK & EMEA region as we continue to build and grow.
While the primary focus of this role is supporting the UK and EMEA regions, it will also play a key role in partnering with the VP of Talent People Business Partners to help deliver a consistent and impactful People Business Partner experience across the organization.
Your Impact: As a key member of our People Business Partner Team and regional People Team lead, you will be deeply embedded in the business, working closely with leaders to align People strategies with Thrive’s ambitious growth goals.
You\’ll drive high-impact initiatives across talent assessment, management, engagement, culture change, and organization design.
You’re a true partner and problem-solver—someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, tackles complex challenges head-on, and is passionate about building an engaged, high-performing workforce.
You possess a positive, can-do attitude, always ready and willing to help where and how needed.
What You’ll Do at Thrive:
- Help Thrive Become Future-Ready: Take a hands-on and consultative approach to solving problems and driving organizational success by acting as the go-to talent advisor for leaders and their teams — connecting business goals to people strategies.
- Help leaders make better decisions and build high-performing, resilient teams.
- Apply structured problem-solving and data-informed insights (both qualitative and quantitative) to shape programs and guide decisions.
- Support leaders with organizational design — ensuring teams are structured with the right roles and skillsets to support business objectives.
Build a Competitive, Scalable Organization:
- Contribute to designing and scaling core talent programs that align with Thrive’s evolving needs, including supporting leaders in setting clear goals, coaching teams, and developing talent.
- Help build and deliver talent programs around mentorship, performance management, coaching, and career development.
- Guide leaders and teams through organizational change, helping them stay aligned and resilient through growth.
Create an Exceptional Employee Experience:
- Offer insights and recommendations on cultural and engagement initiatives.
- Support implementation of programs focused on employee wellbeing, DEI, and overall talent management.
- Act as a trusted partner to resolve conflict, foster positive employee relations, and minimize unwanted turnover.
- Deliver and evolve People processes that matter most to our teams and culture.
Drive Operational Excellence & Compliance:
- Act as the subject matter expert for employment compliance in your region.
- Help evolve and improve People-related processes and systems as Thrive continues to grow.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Deep expertise across key HR disciplines, including strategic HR advisory, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Experience supporting a diverse, global workforce, including remote and distributed teams.
- Strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Willingness to work onsite in UK offices (London, Luton, Nottingham) as needed.
