Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr – $100,000.00/yr

The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget preparation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Accounting & Finance and a keen interest in the Technology industry.

This opportunity is with a high growth SME operating within the Technology sector. The company has patented technology and is the leading developer of a software platform that has set global standards in file compression technology.

Description

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to support company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
• Monitor cash flow and develop strategies to optimise financial performance.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial management and corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Experience in a SME company and comfortable in ambiguity
• Experience managing a team
