Registered Head of Care – Children\’s Residential Services Location: Uttoxeter Salary: Circa £57,000 + £10,000 performance bonus (paid quarterly) + Care plan for all staff Progression: Excellent opportunities as the site expands Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children’s residential care looking for a career-defining opportunity? We are seeking a Registered Head of Care to initially oversee two brand-new children’s homes supporting up to six children with learning disabilities. These homes are part of an innovative, specialist service set on a large site, delivering a holistic approach to care and education. With a dedicated onsite clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and therapeutic environment for the children in your care. Your Role As the Registered Head of Care you will: * Lead and manage two children’s homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. * Drive quality outcomes for children with learning disabilities through a therapeutic and multi-disciplinary approach. * Build and mentor a high-performing staff team, fostering a supportive and child-focused culture. * Ensure Ofsted compliance, striving for ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings. * Work closely with education and clinical teams to provide a truly integrated approach to care. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care. * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). * Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and care planning. * Experience working with children with learning disabilities and complex needs. * A strategic and forward-thinking mindset, ready to help shape the future of this exciting new service.
