What you will do
- Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationships within the territory
- Work with Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of the product and other technologies in the OR
- Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders
- Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs
- Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained
- Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics
- Comply with local jurisdictions, regulatory, professional and ethical standards
- Understand NHS and private sector responsibilities
- Conduct regular territory analysis to understand customers, competitor landscape and trends in sales and market share
- Complete monthly customer activity and sales reports including detail on the sales pipeline
- Ensure time allocation and focus align with the defined company sales strategy
- Execute defined UK Key Account strategies at the local account level
- Maintain CRM records with up-to-date contact details and activities in a GDPR-compliant manner
- Travel available (min 50% to max 80%) and stay overnight if required
- Provide tailored training sessions to customers based on identified needs
What you will need
- Experience selling into theatres and clinics
- Theatre / Surgery environment experience
- Working experience in NHS Trusts and supra Trusts
- Knowledge of NHS and private sector sales cycle
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach
- Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships
- Team player with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce
